CZstudio associati LZLaura Zampieri Architect, graduated at University IUAV of Venice where she conducts research. Professor of Landscape Architecture: from 2004 to 2011 at the University of Trento, from 2004 to 2013 at the University of Udine, currently she teaches at the Department of Culture of the Project of the University IUAV of Venice, at the Master in Landscape architecture (UPC, Barcelona, Spain) and at the Master in Landscape architecture  and  garden  design    (University  IUAV,  Venice).  Since 2011 she is professor of summer workshop in Lisbon at the Master of Landscape Architecture (ACMA-UPC).

 

CZstudio associati PCPaolo Ceccon Architect, graduated at University IUAV of Venice where he conducts research. He specialized in urban design at the Master in Urbanism of the cies: periphery as a project (ETSAB, UPC, Barcelona, Spain). From 2005 to 2013, he was professor at the Landscape Degree at the University IUAV of Venice, since 2009 he is a vising professor at the Master in Landscape architecture (UPC, Barcelona, Spain) and since 2011 he is professor of summer workshop in Lisbon at the Master of  Landscape  Architecture  (ACMA-UPC).

bertagninMauro Bertagnin Architect, urban planner, professor of Architectural Design and Dean of the School of Architecture, University of Udine, Italy. His areas of expertise are earthen architecture, sustainable design and preservation . In the ‘80s in the framework of an italian-algerian programme of cooperation was professor  at  the Faculty of Architecture of Algiers-EPAU and in 1985 he joined the CRATerre and as a member of that group he is awarded in 1990, of ‘Habitat Scroll of Honour of’ UNCHS-HABITAT’ for the activities developed in the field of erthen  architecture. Since 2002 he serves as consultant to UNESCO – WHC  and  he is also a member of the International Scientific Committee ISCEAH-ICOMOS.  During the decade 1995-2005  was “Visiting Lecturer and Design Critic” at the Aga Khan Program of Islamic Architecture (AKPIA) of MIT and later at the Graduate School of Design of Harvard University.  Since 2008 as Scientific Counsellor of the UNESCO-WHEAP contributed to pilot projects  identifyng best practices and setting examples for the dissemination of appropriate techniques in earthen architecture preservation and organized educational programmes and rehabilitation projects in Algeria , Benin, Egypt, Ethiopia, Hungary, Italy, Kenya  Mali, Morocco, Nigeria, Saharaoui Territories, Syria, Spain, Tunisia and Ladakh (India). For UNESCO/WHC has published in 2014 the Conservation manual of the city of Timbuktu (Mali).

Mohamed S. M. YASSIN Mohamed Yassin

Italo-Sudanese scholar and PhD candidate in economics, ecology, landscape and territory at the university of Udine, Italy. Holding B.Sc. from Sudan, PGDs; MIB; and M.Sc. from Italy in multidisciplines which enabled him to achieve in multi-tasked activities, missions and management of civil engineering and construction industry in Italy, Sudan and South Sudan, at the interdepartmental research centre in viticulture and oenology of the University of Padua. He is member of the African Association of Agricultural Economists, European Association of Agricultural Economists, Agricultural and Applied Economics Association (USA), and other national and international professional organizations, societies and committees. Has been visiting scholar at the University of Minnesota, published papers and works. He is the current SPLM N representative to Italy and contact person for South Europe. He is fluent in Arabic, English and Italian.


Michele ZornittaMichele Zornitta

Civil Engineer with specialization in the hydraulic field, graduated at University of Padua. During his work experience he has become specialized in water resources management, flood hazard and risk assessment; he has a strong experience in the field of hydraulic numerical modeling for river analysis and dam break. He has developed different hydraulic and hydrological models throughout Europe and Middle East in order to produce flood risk maps. He has been involved in the design of minihydropower plants and water resources projects. Michele has an extensive knowledge of hydraulic, hydrological modeling software.During the last two years he has been increasingly involved in geotechnical projects related to the landslide stabilization.
